Product Spotlight: Vapamore MR-100 Primo

Many of Vapamore’s steam cleaning products are useful tools in the battle against bed bugs and the MR-100 Primo is no exception.  We have seen news story after news story of how bed bugs are becoming “super bed bugs” that are able to resist insecticide.  Common pest control chemicals that have typically been used to eradicate bed bugs are no longer effective and, as we unfortunately know – if you leave one bed bug behind, you have not eliminated the problem and bed bugs will return.  Pests such as bed bugs, dust mites, and other allergens, along with their eggs, must be fully killed and that requires a contact temperature of 180˚ degrees.  The Vapamore MR-100 Primo produces steam with an output temperature between 210˚ to 220˚ degrees which will kill bed bugs and dust mites, as well as their eggs, so that you can be sure eradication has occurred.

Using steam is an extremely effective and chemical free way to kill these pests, along with E. Coli, Salmonella, H1N1 and other bacteria or viruses without leaving any harmful chemical residue behind.  The Vapamore MR-100 Primo is an effective steam cleaner but it also comes with tools and attachments that make killing bed bugs and other insects or germs even easier.  The tools supplier with the Vapamore MR-100 Primo allow you to treat all areas where these pests can hide such as bedding, sofas, furniture, pillows, carpet, cracks and crevices that are ideal hiding places for pests.  For example, the clothes/fabric tool with the cotton cover is ideal for treating bedding, furniture, pillows and carpeted areas of your home, as well as around bed posts and base boards. Simply start by installing the supplied cotton cover on the clothes-fabric/smooth surface tool.  When you are ready to clean your flooring, the floor cleaning head with micro fiber cover will help you treat flooring as well as large surface areas such as bedding and furniture.  To begin, install the supplied micro fiber cover on the floor cleaning head.  The micro fiber cover thermal core will maintain full temperature during use and allow the floor cleaning head to glide easily over fabric and carpet. For both of these applications, apply light but consistent pressure and slowly pass it along the surface, moving at approximately 1” per second, to ensure that the area being treated has a chance to come to full temperature, thereby killing pests and their eggs.  For more detailed work, the detail adaptor can be used on its own as a straight jet nozzle tool or along with the 90 degree jet nozzle attachment.  Ideal for cracks and crevices, make sure to concentrate the steam directly on the area to be treated with as minimal distance as possible (no more than 1” away).
